Where to stow a Rug Rat - Land Rovers Only

I'm currently hunting for a 90 Defender and I recall seeing somewhere about fitting baby seats

either in the space for the cubby box or in the rear. Has anyone done anything similar or has any hints. Been a few years since my last Series III and it's good to be coming back to a Land Rover. Cheers for the help.
