Default 03 Freelander Coolant Leak

From What I Have Read I Think I Already Know The Answer To My Problem But Just Want To Throw It Out There To Get Some Feedback. I Had The Vehicle About Month And A Half Now It Has 66k On It. I Notice The Floor Mats Were Wet With A Grimey Feel. Someone Who Was A Passenger In The Car(a Mechanic) Noticed The "sweet" Smell Of Coolant When I Turned The Heat On. Also The Windshield Had Condensed Up With A Haze That Would'nt Just Wipe Off Like Water. I Checked The Coolant Tank To Notice It Was Empty. As I Read On Another Thread Here Someone Said To Check The Sticker On The Fan Motor Under Driver Side For Any Pink Or Coolant Stains And Yes There Is Some. Is This Indicative Of Me Needing A New Heater Core? Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks In Advance!!!

Default Yes

Ive never replaced a heater core in the rover, but have on a few Porsche's....the job sucks. maybe the freelander doesnt involve removing the entire interior :-)

Maybe for giggles ( in the hopes of getting REALLY lucky) you can check the connections at the firewall to be sure THEY arent leaking first...again....REALLY lucky:-)
