5dr Freelander Rear Window

I have a 2002 5dr freelandder.


the rear window lowers OK from the switch inside.


the problem is with the window when I try to put the window up

the window will get to the top and the return down to the bottom

(you can hear the motor so it it not in free fall)
this does not happen every time and more often then not.
