I have a 2002 Black Freelander SE and about $1200 to spend. I've looked at a bunch of accessories and wanted to know what you think I should get.
The possibilities are: -DAP HD A-Frame: $700 after shipping -Reese tow hitch: $130 -Crossbars: $150 -SliderZ: $500 -Light Guards front/rear: $120/$120 If you guys want to add anything to the list or if any of you know where to get these parts for cheaper please let me know. Thanks! ![]() |

I offroad some, but I don't know if I want the lift. How much side slope and on-road driving performance will be lost? I'm also waiting for my Michellin hydroedge tires to wear out so that I can get some Pirelli Scorpions 235/65/17.

I dont think you'll have any adverse effect on drivablity with a lift.. you may want to check out the forums at http://www.muddyoval.com/ .. there are a lot more freelander owners there.

hey go all out and get some Ranger rims and then get the BFG's - can't beat em
Rmuller has seen mine in action - with my homemade sliders..... I would say first and foremost get the Mantec skid plate or make a skid plate (RonC) - the Mantec is worth it's weight in gold !!!! trust me... that being said the next is more ground clearance - |
