Default Bigger problems now.....

Ok, well my door wasn't locking because it has been jammed. Well, for some reason now all my doors are locked and the keyhole is still jammed. I literally cannot get into my car. I called locksmiths, AAA, and even landrover roadside assitance and no one will help me because of what kind of high security vechile I have. I have no way to get into my car, now I have to have it towed to the landrover shop tomorrow. Any suggestions on a cheaper way if I can do it myself. Most likely not huh...they say the alarm will go off and then I won't be able to start it myself. This really sucks! Hope not to costly. Please help if you know what to do.

How will they not do it because it's a "high security vehicle"?

Having a vehicle towed to the dealership for a lock-out?
I don't know Freelanders,,,but that seems absurd to me.

You should be able to break in (or have a locksmith get you in) and then disable the alarm by putting they key in the ignition.

MuddyOval knows Freelanders, perhaps he'll chime in.

Cannot you get into the car by opening the tailgate door window? I don't have the hand book with me but it opens with either the key (held in the open position for 2 secs) or by the alarm fob held down for 2 secs.

Default Thanks for your help

Thanks for your help, and thoughts guys. I tried the back door 2 sec thing, and that didn't work. My car didn't come with a keyless entry when we purchased it. We are getting it towed tomorrow am to my landrover shop
(it is actually not a dealership, which is nice). I thought any locksmith could do it too, but a lot of them are afraid of doing more damage to the car then there may already be. My insurance will cover any costly damage. But, this still really sucks because of some idiot who was interested in my nice car. Thanks!
