Default Bluetooth is annoying.

Ok, I've found my first LR2 petty annoyance. It's the bluetooth. Never mind the fact that I don't have one of the coveted 8 phones actually supported by the LR2... I can deal with that. I have a "moderately supported" phone that at least allows me to make and receive calls. What I find most annoying is the fact that every time I successfully pair said moderately supported phone to the bluetooth in the LR2 it forgets that I want to see the "Artist" on my Siruis text. It defaults back to "Program title" which is useless, at least on the few stations I listen to. If I change the Sirus text setting back, the phone has to be resync'd which usually means a LR reboot (I have to turn the truck off and then back on again).

It's no deal breaker. I love the LR2. I just thought I'd share in hopes that I'm not the only one.

Strange you have that problem, my blue tooth has no effect on the Sirius channel, but i know when you turn off the truck it resets the artist setting, i'll test it and see what happens,
but to tell you the truth i couldnt live without the Bluetooth connection, its Awsome, i talk on the phone alot, so the police dont hastle me because i'm hands free, now they just pull me over because i'm black

OK fine. In the grand scheme of things its no biggie. Being able to check the football scores on the PDA, swat at the screaming kid in the back seat, steer with my knee, and drink a cup of Starbucks without having to hold the phone up to my ear is heavenly. I guess bluetooth is not that annoying when you look at it that way.

You COULD just not make a phone call and drive your 5,000 pound chunk of metal. Just saying.

possible issue with a programming. a reprogram of the the audio system components or a vehicle reset might cure the problem.

but this would have to be confirmed as a problem with a phone on the list just to be sure.

but most likely it sounds like a MOST system issue.
