Chipping - L Series Diesel

Hi,

Does anyone have a chipped L series diesel? If so do you have the new power/torque outputs - does it improve torque below 2000rpm before the turbo comes on line?

Likewise has anyone else changed anything on the engine to improve performance particularly at low revs. Even though the TD4 engine has a 4 valve head and twin cams, as the L series is slightly larger but still OHC it should be able to produce similar power. The TD4 has higher boost and a variable turbo where the L series has low boost and a fixed vane turbo. Has anyone replaced the L series turbo with the TD4 equivalent and increased boost a little - if so what were results.

Likewise has anyone put in a thicker intercooler on their L series - did it make much difference.
