Default evap system leak error

2 days ago i got the SES light. the code revealed evap system leak (large). could it be just the gas cap the needs to be replaced or is it anything else. has anyone run into the same issue before. any help is appreciated

need to do an evap test with testbook. after they clear the code and perform an evap test via test book the system will detect a leak or not. if there is a leak then you need to fill the system with smoke from a smoke machine and check for leaks.

is there any danger to drive it if there is a leak. i mean what are the consquences
