Default freelander stereo

hi can anyone help ive an 05 freelander can some one tell me how the stereo comes out as im wanting to fit motorized dvd in dash cheers all

if its the cd version,

use 4 peices of coat hanger or similar to push into the holes around the facia this should release it,

if there are onyl 2 holes then you need to use a small allen key to release it

then pull like hell

Rookie
To remove the stereo system in a ML05 Freelander you have to take the centre console out and the front facia around the stereo unit, the stereo appears to be three separate pieces but actually its all one unit. Its basically the same stereo found in Fords now.
