Only one problem. The VIS motors always stick. My dealer denies it, even though it throws the fault codes and you can just look down the inlet at them. So every month or so I free them up myself. I will eventually take it somewhere and get the intake fins replaced and that should fix the problem. Other than that, not a single problem.

seriously the VIS motors wouldnt fail and throw a code as much if they had improved the programming parameters. I am sure of it. but they never did and the parameters are such that if the computer doesnt like what it sees it will cause the code when the key is turned and it prompts a test. Unless there is major noise caused by a broken intake manifold or irregularly idle that the only code is the VIS motors then yes replace them. Thats what LR wants us to do. And the VIS motors don't even effect drive cycles. You can leave the codes in and no problem with a state inspection.
