Hey nice pics everyone!

Hey Jaguiler, are those old Rx-7 wheels on you Freelander?! Sure looks like that same pattern Mazda used to use. Anyway, sweet ride.

Mine- or at least WAS. It was later resold by a dealer as a Certified Used... for real!

It lived though- wheeled it the rest of the weekend and then towed a camper home. The mud was hard to get out of the interior-

Hey Steve what was the story behind your Freelander laying on its side?

Hi folks

Here are some snaps of our two Freelanders. We have a 2002 TD4 GS and a 1998 Camel Trophy vehicle. Both are great fun and even the road-spec Freelander is suprisingly capable.

Cheers

I was trying to go around that hole- the tyre ruts are 35" deep and the centre bump in the middle was kinda high. The truck slid sideways into the hole- a 35" drop for the wheels on the Left side and over it went. Luckily, the side of the truck rested on the hump in the middle of the hole. Still had mud and water all inside because of the open windows.

You can see the waterline going diagonally across the door...

Damn Steve that must have been a hell of ride!

I am suprised none of the glass or anything broke. Crazy!

How the hell did they right your Freelander? I have always wondered that when I was out wheelin' with people, if someones truck just tips on its side how would you right it.

Default Freelander Photos.

There are some great shots of some freelanders on the trail. It was fun to watch them drive. One of the rear tires was constantly off the ground and in the air.. One of them had a small lift and a skid plate. It will be the landrover adventure association link.

Jeff's Disco was behind me, so we hooked a pulley to a tree off to the side and then to my slider. It flopped back over easily, but then it was stuck at an angle in the hole- so I used my winch to pull forward. It was resting on the rear side panel and the front corner- broke the headlamp and dented the rear quarter panel.
