Fuel Gauge Goes Nuts!

Hey everyone,

I have a 2007 LR2 and lately my gas gauge has been going crazy, I will fill up and then once it gets down to about 3/4 of a tank it just drops to empty, then it will shoot back up, then drop. This has been going on for awhile, but since my warranty is up I really don't want to take it in, I'd rather fix it myself if that is doable.

Any suggestions?

It's the Sender Unit in the Gas Tank! It should be a recall but it's not!
