Hemmming & Hawwwwing....

Hi gang,

Hope y'all had a very Merry Christmahanakwanzaka!

So I've received some feedback regarding the 05' SE3 Freebie I'm lookin' at in the "Should I or shouldn't I...too" thread in this forum...and I'm still on the fence.

Any last words before I decide for or against?

Here's what I know...

~ 2005 SE3
~ 25K miles
~ Options include LR factory 18" wheels, body side molding, rubber floormats
~ EXTREMELY clean
~ No accidents (Clean CarFax report)
~ Ran VIN thru a LR dealer's service center and it came back clean, only needs the brake light recall serviced (Recall Number:07V041000 )
~ Remaining LR factory warranty 4yr/50,000k (Exp. 5/9/09)
~ Slight coolant smell in engine compartment (...uh-oh)

~...also the best part. They had it listed for $16, 900...and they are down to $14,900 w/my 100k trade for $2500.00

Any advice, encouragement, warding off....would be appreciated ; )

Also, anyone have ballpark prices on Bumper to Bumper Ext. warrenties for the long haul?

DONT BUY IT. I hope I am not to late to tell you this but STAY AWAY FROM THE FREELANDERS THEY ARE TROUBLE, even the service workers and techs who have been working on rovers for 20+ years say to stay clear....get a Disco instead
