Default How can I polish the outside plastic trims of my LR2?

Hello EO,

I have a brand new LR2 and I want to keep the outside plastic trims bright, polished and black - I live in a very hot and humid climate and the weather fades the colour with time!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?!?!?

Thank you everyone!!

meguiars leather cleaner and conditioner (comes in a spray bottle) actually works just like Mother's Back to Black and is easier to apply. I'd recommend spraying and then wiping on all parts of the black plastic, then after a few minutes "buff" the wiped areas with a dry towel to clean off any excess. it has worked good on my D2.

Check out Zymol products. Zymol Worldwide.
Not cheap; but most good stuff isn't.

Aerospace 303 plastic and vinyl protector works brilliantly on plastic. It will keep it looking good if you apply it when you wash your vehicle (or every few weeks) and is like sunscreen for plastic to keep it from fading, cracking, etc. Highly recommended. Available at some auto part stores and most boating stores or online.

Areo 303 is great! I've been using it for a number of years. My neighbor who is in the high end boat business started me using it. I also use it on my leather every other month. Here in south Florida the sun is hot & all the vinyl leather that is treated with it looks new. My neighbor has numerous leather & vinyl samples that he treats once a month w/ many products & only the 303 treated samples look new.
