Default loud bump from rear end when accelerating

Hi My name is keith and I have a 2002 landrover freelander and I have a question that I hope some one can help with. My landrover is a awd 2.5 v6 and I noticed a while bad I started to hear a whining noise on the freeway and I thought it was a bearing going bad but suddenly it started to make a bump when I stop and especially when I take off from a stop and press the gas about half way down there is a loud bump in the rear center of the truck sounds like from the middle of the rear axle, it almost sounds like someone is under the car with a pipe hitting the bottom of the truck, could someone please let me know what this could be. My email address is skeith223@yahoo.com. Thank You.

Found out today that it was the muffler hitting he bottom of the truck, it seems like the hangers are to loose.
