Question My freelander

Hi all,
My Freelander is making a clicking noise that Im sure is coming from the motor, from the very top. I have bee told that it might be a valve problem. Has anyone experience valve problems before? Oh and i want to change the spark plugs for for the life of me, I can only find 3 located in front of the motor. Last question, promise... has anyone experienced shaking problems when you go over 40-50mph? i check the axel and other parts under the car but everything seem to be pretty tight and clean, not sure what it could be.
Thanks,
Oliver.

locked vc maybe or a bad propshaft.

That clicking noise is the Freebie engine counting down to destruction.

The plugs on the engine I'm guessing you found are the front 3 if memory serves on that motor you may need to pull the intake manifold to access the 3 rear plugs. As they are up against the firewall.

you dont have to pull the intake, they are easy accessible. you have to pull off the bolts to the coil packs and then access the plugs.

the plugs are supposed to be changed at 60k. at 72k the timing belts have to be changed.

the vibration could be the tires or the frt inner cv joints that are bad. If you feel any play in them when you rock them the axle shaft up and down then they are bad. its about eight hundred dollars for one.
