The purpose of our kit is to avoid the cutting of interior body panels and the removal of the struts (altering brake line mounts). Anything much over 38mm and the panels must be cut, and struts must be removed. This design simply saves you time and extra work. |

do these lifts hurt your suspension at all, and I have a 2003 se3 freelander with 17 inch wheels, what tires do you guys recommend.
One last question, can you guys send me more pics of your lifted freelanders?? Blizwinter@gmail.com for pics Thanks guys, wish I had some freelander friends in PA!!! |

With the 17" rims your tire selection is limited. Most with 17" run the Pirelli Scorpion AT. If you plan on taking it offroad, you should really consider getting some 16" wheels. There are many more tire selections in that size. I run 225/70/16 BFG AT/KOs. With that size there is no worry about rubbing even without a lift.
What part of the state are you in? I'm in Pittsburgh right now but from the Philly area. |

Yeah, Chris... nice Freelander.
![]() I still miss that thing. Anyway- the original 2" lift for these is rally proven and only requires minor clearance work to ensure the steering rods won't bind on the inner fender wells. That should be done on any lift- there should be an extra margin around any moving steering part. The brake line mounts do NOT need to be modified as asserted... that's only if you don't want to disconnect the brake line and bleed the brakes.
