Working on my boss's 2002 Freelander 2.5. I replaced the thermostat with one from Rover, and I must have nicked the o-ring on the manifold when I installed it. Any gurus know the o-ring dimension so I don't have to buy an entire new thermostat? Thanks, love the show......I'll take my answer off the air!!!
In case anybody runs across this problem....I found an o-ring that worked. It was a little tight on the OD, so I stuck it in the freezer overnight... I got it from fastenal. Part number 1166855. Here are the specs:
-40[DEG]F - 250[DEG]F
Cross Section Size:
Buna-N O-rings, or Nitrile O-rings are all 70 Durometer with .003 Tolerance
