Is it worth the extra $200 for the DAP sliders? Has anyone experienced both? The OEM look a little bigger but easier to install. The DAP look tougher to install but I've only heard good things about them. What do you guys think?

I think I'm safe to assume that the OEM ones really arent rock sliders at all.. probably just side steps w/ crappy mounting that will fall off the first time you hit anything.. so I'd say go with the DAP 'SliderZ'

Go with the DAP Sliderz. Heck, go with a piece of 1" square steel tube instead of the OEM side steps.
The DAP parts look better and are effective protection for the lower ride-height Freelander.

Come on you NEED to post up some pics of your Freelander! You took off too soon back at Mikes farm in July, I didn't get any good pics. Yours is the most built FL I have seen in person.

What they said. The OE stuff will fall off on the trail (assuming that's why you want it). Get the DAP sliders if you can afford them or make your own.
