hi there just bought my first freelander 1999 1.8i.
I drove it down from mansfield with no probs then went out for another run and the rev counter started to race at about 2000rpm when it meant to be at idle at traffic lights. ![]() anybody got any quick fixes, all help apprieciated ![]() |

A Simple check would be the throttle body for any build up and maybe sticking the butterfly valve open alittle.
