Default P0300 P0301 p0303 P0305 Engine Codes

I am getting the following engine misfire codes:
i P0300 - random misfire
ii P0301 Cylinder 1
iii. P0303 Cylinder 3
iV. P0305 Cyliner 5

Apart from that I am also getting P1472 (VIS motor 2) which leads to lean air fuel mixture.

I changed spark plugs on LH (front) side. I didn't chage the wires yet. The cylider misfire problem hasn't gone away.

Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

how did they look, and did you check fuel pressure while running and stationary?

if there are no broken pcv hoses or lean codes then its possible with the fuel presure good you have an issue with coolant leaking into the cylinders and may need a headgasket or more.

last time I had that with just leaks it ended up being an engine due to the heads were pitted.

Thanks for the reply.

How can I check fuel pressure?

I do get lean codes. P0171 P0174 (I believe). I was under the impression this might be caused by P1472 (VIS motor 2 always open).

Did you only change have the plugs in your engine? Did I read that right?

I changed plugs on the LH bank . . . changing on the RH bank seems to be too cumbersome. I am planning to do it over the weekend.

Can a lean air fuel mixture due to VIS motor can also lead to some misfire complications? Or they are not realted?

ignore the 1472. thats something you ignore due to a failure test.

the fuel pressure test port is in the front on the rail.
