Quick question:
Are the heated seats alredy installed in SE model Freelanders, only needing the console switches to be functional? When you see the HSE models, they come with heated seats, contrary to SE's ,which have blank switches on their place, but I was wondering if I can buy the switches form a parts supplier and just plug them in and have heated seats, just as with Discoveries, or is it more involved than that? Any help appreciated. Thanks |

Our "Wonderful" SE has heated seats but it also has the switches. It doesn't seem to make much sense for the manufacturer to waste the money putting the seats in there and not the switches. But then again, ours has a fog light switch and no Fog lights or any other evidence to suggest that there ever where fog lights.
You can probably look up under the seat and see if the wiring is coming out of the seat, that would let you know if it is a heated seat or not. |
