Default Rubber Floor Mats

Has anybody here replaced their factory carpeted floor mats with the genuine Land Rover rubber mats (Part #LR002483)?

I am considering getting some, and was wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't!

I am also wondering if anybody here knows of any online retailers that sells these - I don't want to pay dealership prices if I don't have to.

Thanks.

Rubber mats are a must, I picked up a used set for my DII on ebay. Not sure what model you have but I paid $60.00 for the front and rear.

Do you have a freelander or LR2? In either case, getting the rubber mats are well worth the investment. FL mats can be bought at a variety of places and used off of lots of BBS. LR2 mats aren't as easily found but most of the big rover parts places carry them. The genuine articles are a little pricey, but they last forever. I still have the original rubber mats in my RRC that are now 13 yrs old and are holding up great!

I have a 2009 LR2 HSE - just brought home this last Friday.

Thanks for the feedback on this, I appreciate it. The rubber mats from my LR dealership are about $125 and are hard for me to find anywhere else, and the ones I saw on eBay had such small photos I couldn't even see if they even had Land Rover on them.

Guess I'll go in tomorrow and pick up the mats then! Will probably pick up the rubber cargo mat for the back as well...

Don't know if you've already purchased these mats yet, but I bought these from AutoAnything and I used them over the winter. They worked out great and actually have more carpet coverage than the Land Rover rubber mats. I would recommend them for the price. You'll see the reviews say that the rubber smells and you need to air them out for a week before they go in your car. It's definitely true!

These are a full set of front and rear mats. They are custom cut and are a perfect fit in my 2008 LR2 HSE.
