that's because the Sport mode - will hang on to the lower gear for a longer length of time, hence the sporty feel to it.
then to take it a step further you can shift - so there are three modes - normal auto, sport auto, manual shift mode. enjoy ! I prefer normal auto - as I don;t liek to race the engine too much - afterall it is a truck, not a sportscar. ![]() |

Helps to read this item :-)
Sport mode applies more drive to the rear wheels and also maintains a little higher rpm improving acceleration. Pretty cool, definitely a difference in my case and I haven't notice any significant change in gas mileage - mostly in town driving. ![]() |
