Default Subwoofer removable 2006 TD4

Hi everybody

Does anyone know where the subwoofer is located and how to remove it. I'm wanting to remove it so that I can trace the wires to the amp.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Clint

I don't know about a 2006 TD4, but in my American 2002 SE, the subwoofer is located in the floor of the trunk near the tire changing gear. When you lift the pannel up, there is a box attatched to it. Unscrew that and remove it, and you should see the subwoofer.

Hi

Thanks for the response.
I think the design was kept the same with these Freelander's, when u say lift the panel up...I take it u're referring to the panel that u lift up to get to the tyre changing gear(the lid basically)?
Is the box supposed to be attached to this lid? (cos there's nothing) or is it under something else?
The only thing I can see is the tyre changing gear box with it's yellow retaining "knob".
