Hi, Wife ran out of deisel in my 2001 Td4. now when we start it after sitting for a while it takes a couple of goes before it kicks over. Never used to do that, used to fire first go everytime.
I have had advice that it is all self bleeding etc, so not sure what I can do, any suggestions? thanks tim |

The TD4 is a self priming engine, so you shouldn't need to worry about that. First suspect would be the fuel filter.
