Export a lightweight to the US

I am moving out to the US next year Colorado and have an intresting lightweight (Parabolics large wheels o/d 2.5 diesel)

By the sounds of things these are fairly hard to get hold off in the US

so anyone out there know if its worth exporting to the US and how you go about it.

As long as its over 25 years old you shouldnt have any problems .... yes its definatly worth importing it with ya as Lightweights and all the series landys and 110's are a nightmare to get there and supa $$$ im looking at taking mine over there next year im moving to austin and have been told all kinds of things but basicaly cos mine is an 86 XD90 not 25 years old its kinda hard
im gonna take it over on a tempory import which lasts 12 months
beats spending upwards of 30k on a NAS 90 anyway

you have to pay a certain percentage of the what its worth cost as tax ... but its around 2% i think
