That would be a Series III 'Lightweight' , and since it's on an M-reg number plate I think I'm right in saying it would be 1973/4.

It's a nice-looking Lightweight too- never seen one in that bottle green colour before. It looks good on it, especially with the dark green canvas.

well it is now sand colour and is 1974 made in 1973 Formerly Royal school of Signals at Blandford Camp, now in sunny Northumberland.
