Hello all im new to the land rover scene but ive always fancied a lightweight and have noticed an interesting one on ebay.co.uk it claims to be one of the 6 prototypes built and possibly the oldest lightweight in existence!! what would it be worth restored then?? and what kind of price would you bid up to?? ps type light weight prototype

In the UK folks can be very horny for their lightweights. Bottom line, it is worth what people are willing to pay. If it is for real a rare Rover then unless nobody realizes the ebay post it will go for more than other lightweights. So if you just fancy a lightweight Rover to run around in and not a show stopper I would look for a more average unit. Search the web for lightweight info, lots of books, magazine articles etc on lightweights out there. Hope this helps, good hunting !
