Range Rover Classic $500
year: 1990 color: silver Location: near hartford, CT miles on dash: 160k (various drive line components have been replaced) 2" lift with the new coils alloy turbo twist wheels 3 spokes with mud tired Transfer case conversion with real center diff lock New floor mats So this is the deal, I used this range rover for a few years as my daily driver up in the green mountains of northern Vermont. The thing was dead reliable and NEVER broke down on me or left me out in the woods. Since I was due for emissions and I had a non-legal exhaust system plus some floor rust issues I decided too take it off the road to fix everything. I fixed about 80% of the rusted floor and spent $300 on paint. I began painting the exterior and a family emergency came up half way through the first coat. and well.. I haven’t touched the car ever since, and that was a year ago. I’m heading off to Hawaii in the spring and want to hand it off to some1 else. Various interior and exterior things are apart but nothing that a few hours wouldn’t put back together. It could be a fun cheap little project to finish up or I guess you could just drive it the way it is. I have a TON of extra parts and for a little extra $$ ill throw in an extra engine and transmission. Plus I know a good used parts guy in the area that would have anything you would ever need for it. This rover is far from perfect and has been used regularly offroad. If you have any questions feel free to email them to me!!!!!!!! Drew still has the truck for sale, he's just having some computer difficulties and hasn't been able to respond lately. This truck's original owner lived 2 minutes up the road from me in Bloomfield Ct so it's been a new england truck it's whole life.
It had a lot of floor and sill rust in it but Drew did replace several of the floor panels. The rear wheel arches were rusted out so Drew welded in a thick piece of steel to re-enforce the seatbelt mounting area. It also has a ZF auto and an LT230 from an 87' Range Rover. It's riding on Big Blue 2" HD springs. Also includes an under-bumper winch plate to fit a Milemarker 8000lb electric winch. Overall it's a pretty good project/trail truck.
