Default 1992 Rrc

No sense talking about this as all of you know too much about it anyway. Many of you have suggested VERY easy fixes... so it is your chance to take advantage of a good situation for a mechanically inclined person.

Best offer over $800 in a week takes the truck.

Truck is in Brattleboro Vermont. You pick it up.

Here is a pic: the brush guard and steering guard are not included in this sale. Also, that rock was much bigger then it appears in the picture

Look folks... its a $800 RRC with an engine with 14K on it. Is this seriously being ignored? For crying out loud just swoop the thing up and lets be done with this..

And please don't take this the wrong way, but there are so many people who had so many opinions about how to fix this truck; about how easy it would be; and now there is a silence that is shocking. The engine has 14K on it. If you can work on motors BUY this truck. I mean seriously for all the talk about what I should do this truck is selling for parts truck prices, what have you people got to lose? What the hell is the deal?

For me it's no room for another Rover and a wife that would castrate me if another one "followed me home".

That and I'm blowing all my disposable income on the Rover I already have.

I'm bumping myself here and reminding people that not only is this truck SUPER cheap... it has a new alternator, fuel pump, coil, plugs and wires, replaced injectors, engine with 14K on it, this thing is a great truck for a person who wants an easy project. Hell, the new parts on it are worth more than the asking price.

gas is 4 bucks a gallon and that beast gets 12 around town. Im sitting on a very nice Disco that will be lucky to pull 2K on ebay. You might want to post what is wrong with it as well as a lot of folks dont read this board, other than casually but watch the cars/parts for sale. Good luck. Gordo

The general consensus is that the cam timing chain needs to be re-set. I don't know how to do that myself and can't afford to have someone else do it. So.. that washes the truck out for me. If a person knows how to work on these engines at that level this truck is a steal. As far as $4 / gas goes... yeap, hence the truck with 14,000 on the engine and $1000 in new parts for teh price of a parts rig. Hell, trucks that won't even turn over go for darn near that. The metal alone is worth $300. The fact that no one is biting shocks me.
