I don't think the 93 RR came with a manual gearbox. As the specs indicate that this is what is fitted, it must be an aftermarket addition, perhaps out of a Defender.

My bet is that the owner knows full well that it is not a "Defender" but is merely attempting to generate as much interest as he can. It looks like he has succeeded in getting a lot of free press as I have seen Life's Lemon post links to this auction in a couple of places. Maybe it's his or a friends??? As far as the manual transmission, I'd guess it's nothing more than a typo.

haha no, I just posted this on discoweb because here and there are the two main forums I visit. If it were a friends of mine I would buy it
 And os for the manual thing i guess that makes sence, but would he talk about it more? theres only like 2 lines of text.. its weird.. or fake. I just thought for anyone who was interested |
