Default 1993 Defender 110 NAS

I have a 1993 NAS Defender 110 with 54,027 miles on it. The stereo was stolen and the wiring harness cut. Also the winch and selonoids were taken. I want to sell this vehicle it has been sitting for years (indoors). Since it was broke into and the harness was cut it will not start with the Key, I can get it to run by dumping some gas in the intake and a hot wire to coil. Anyone know what it should be worth? It is number 100 of 500
Any help would be appreciated. Located in northern California. It is dusty and in need of a good cleaning. I have been told by forum members this is not a nas 110. I am by no means an expert on defenders. I will post the vin as soon as i can get to my shop.
Vin number from right front frame rail, checked by California licensed vin verifacation service.

That's a decent looking truck. Looks like Willow Green.
FWIW, It's NOT and NAS110.

First off, All NAS110s are 1993, though nearly all were built in 1992.
Number 100 was rolled and totaled by the insurance company. It was sitting in Billings Montana for a long time, in Creed Evans yard. If you haven't heard any history on the man, then you wouldn't have otherwise had reason to suspect the authenticity of your truck.
The NAS 110 has an extended radiator grill, and completely different rear crossmember and light arrangement. The roll cage is not even a close replica of the Safety Devices cage on a NAS110, the front wings on yours are Tdi wings (That doesn't mean much, as I has RHD TDi wings on mine too) The headlight finishers (the black plastic panel) Are TD5. Basically, what you have is a built truck. What would be interesting is if it has had a VIN swap, using The original #100 VIN (and SN Plaque) I wouldn't put that paste Evans either.
What it's worth is what an intelligent buyer is willing to pay. A 1986 110 (not a Defender) sold for $13000 recently, and theres a beautiful '84 with a 200Tdi in VT for sale for $25K. A fairly crusty real NAS110 sold for $29K here in CT a few months ago, but good ones are still fetching +$50K.
Here's an interesting, and pretty accurite site to check out:
Land Rover FAQ - Repair & Maintenance - Defender NAS VIN Registryefender 110 (North American Spec)
There are alot of "Defender 110s" out there, and alot of them have been both extremely well, and poorly, converted to look like an NAS truck. Your's fits the poor class, but thats not to say it's not a good truck, just not a good NAS clone.
Why it isn't running is fairly simple to diagnose, but it would help to know what it was built as originally so I'd know which harness and electrical system it is. They all differ somewhat, but the NAS110 is quite different.

Hi Terry
It has a 14cux ecm, the injectors do not pulse and the main relay does not get power. the books i bought say the main relay gets power from ac24 connector but i have yet to find its location. the engine is a 3.9 liter. Also the diagnostic display does not light up.
All help is greatly appreceated.

The VIN you found on the frame rail, I'm assuming on the front right horn, matches the database for SN 100, so what it looks like is that it was rebodied with a ROW body (Rest Of World). The pictures I saw of it when it was rolled pretty much was a total and the cage was shot too, so that would also lead me to believe the rolling chassis of #100 got rebodied.
The Safety Devices cage is bolted together, in many segments, with a cross bar running from one side to the other below the windscreen, the front legs came down and met the wings, on curved pads, like the middle, but not as big as the ones on the rear.
So, essentially, it would appear, on first blush, is that you have the chassis from the real NAS #100, but rebodied. A purist would say it's not an NAS, and strictly speaking that would be right, but It's still worth more than if it were a whole ROW truck faked to be an NAS. While it may never bring what it would had it been all original, it's still a pretty good truck. Do some homework and see what some nice examples of the ones for sale, there have been a few on the Rovers North board. The paint job doesn't look so hot in the left side view, but if thats just the photo, I'm gonna guess you ought to be in the low $20K range. Run a CARFAX on it and see how it comes back. Mine was titled "Salvage-Rebuildable" from FL when I bought it at auction, but after it's rebuild it was given a clean new title from CT. That only means it has a clean title now, but has a clouded history (engine fire) I've since rebuilt it again, and also repainted it from the stock ALpine White, to Conniston Green. It would be interesting to know who rebuilt it. If it was Evans, I wouldn't give a monkeys toss for it, but you be the judge on the quality of workmanship that went into it. The '83 in VT only went up to $16K on ebay, but I know whats been done and it's easily worth $25K
As to getting it running: I'm assuming you've checked the MAXI fuses in the fuse box under the hood. There are 4. There are two relays up in the passenger footwell next to the ecu, check they power up when you turn the key on. Does the fuel pump run for about 3-4 seconds when you first turn the key on?.
I've got all the schematics (the Brits really don't have a good handle on drawing a 'whole vehicle' schematic) which I can get to you.
BTW, I like the security system. Remember to untie him before you drive off.

If you can send me a copy of the correct wiring that would be great. The maxi fuses are hot but no power to the relays nect to the ECM. the wiring schematics I have looked at show a wire from the maxi fuse to connector AC24 then to the relays but I have yet to locate that connector. Also the fuel pump does not start with the key on but if i give it power at the fuel pump relay it does power up and deliver fuel to the fuel rail but still no injector pulse. Are there any fusable links in the wiring system?
Thanks
Randy

There are no fusible links. AC24 is the plug in the EFI harness that goes to the AC Harness.Since this is departing from a "For Sale", We can carry it on, in the Defender section.
