1995 Lwb - Land Rovers Only

Car does not drive right now. Odometer is at about 182,000 miles. It is sitting at Land Rover Mt. Kisco, about 35 miles north of Manhattan.

The engine turns on fine, most of the parts are in good condition. A few of them are nearly new.

Here is what is broken. The VC unit is seized, which in turn has destroyed (probably) the transfer box, and has resulted in a 3" hole when the rear diff exploded. To get this running, it will need likely need the VC, transfer box, rear diff, and perhaps a few other parts.

What is good. Genuine rear glass and frame put in about 2 years ago. 3 relatively new brake calipers (1 about 2 weeks old). Mean green alternator. Optima Yellow top size 31 battery. Pretty clean rear seats. Okay front seats. Seat motors work. All other bits are in good but worn condition.

The car is sitting at the dealer right now. Someone for salvage wants to give me $200. I cannot spend the time to part out, but I know that the rear glass and frame alone would sell for $3-400.

If you want it and can get it on a flatbed in the next two-three days, it is yours for $500 cash. If not, salvage gets it.
