Hey guys, I've had a year of fun in my Discovery, and wish to put it up finally. I've recently replaced the power steering pump, and driver's side door handle. Engine was replaced and now has roughly 75,000 miles on it. Total mileage is 130,000.
Unfortunately, there's a small list of defects: front sunroof - jams, needs motor. rear sunroof, doesn't roll all the way back - needs motor. passenger front door handle - doesn't open from outside Hood and front leading edge paint on roof and roof upstep is fading, clearcoat toast. Rear step and bumper lights removed, muffler chopped by previous owner(s?) However, the pros: new serpentine belt, ps pump, idle tensioner pulley, ac recharged no leaks, new tires (and beefy), tinted, wired for sound, all original mats in place, carpet decent, leather all good besides one front seat tear, 6 disc, automatic, ladder, spare tire/cover thing, power seats and windows work great, shifts fine, brakes 20,000 miles ago, leaks almost no oil/other fluid. I'd like to trade for something more gas efficient, and I've put quite a bit of TLC into maintaining this awesome offroader. It has years of strong running if kept in good care, and including the car, I've spent about $9000. I'd like to fetch $5000 for it, or trade for an equal (or generous offer) value vehicle. Also, something sporty would be cool, perferably a manual... BMW, Benz, anything eyecatching. I'm located in Montana, but there's an auto transport depot about a mile from my house. I'd be willing to also trade for something along the lines of a mid 90's subaru and a crotchrocket. (sport bike, superbike, etc.) Please e-mail (possible week to reply) weedlywah@gmail.com or call Rich 10am to 7pm Mountain Standard Time 7 days a week. (406) 250-3345 |
