Selling a 1999 Land Rover Discovery Series ll. Driven daily. Currently tagged and insured. I'm the second owner. CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME. This is the “SE” model, full-power, factory fog lights, factory tow package with trailer wiring kit with the Land Rover Logo, factory running boards, 18” factory chrome Land Rover wheels option(even the spare) with Yokohama AVS S-T directional tires. This is the 5-seater, so it has coil springs in the back as opposed to the 7-seater with air springs(they tend to fail, and expensive when replaced), 130K miles, ice-cold dual zone automatic digital climate control, hill-descent control, automatic trans. with sport mode. Rare sunroof delete model(less things to fail though), and a very rare color: “Woodcote green”, only available in '98-'00 Land Rover models. It is a dark green that shines in a gold-bronze tone when exposed to the sun, as opposed to the more common darker “Epson green”. It has a tan cloth interior, alarm system, Alpine sound system with CD changer under the passenger seat (all from factory). All warranty and owners manuals are still in the glovebox.
Lots of service/new parts (performed only between Land Rover Cary and Rover Club House): 1. New intake port/manifold gasket kit This particular one was done in 2005 at the Land Rover Dealer, so it still has a lot of miles to go and NO coolant leaks!!!. 2. Fresh oil change. 3. NEW O2 sensors (all 4 of them)(VERY EXPENSIVE). 4. NEW Catalytic converter “Y” pipe with both new converters.( $800 part). 5. New aftermarket Canadian “Pilot” bolt-on catback exhaust with dual exits,(nice sporty sound, but not loud, not annoying). 6. New mass airflow sensor. 7. New genuine LR plugs and cables. 8. NO PROBLEM LIGHTS ON THE DASH, no “service engine light”, NOTHING. No Off-road, Not abused. Driven daily to go to work and back. Reason for selling: Got a good deal on an LR3, but as you probably know, you would probably have to give your car away if are going to trade it at the dealer. Asking $5,500 BUT OPEN TO CASH OFFERS. No trades. Vehicle is currently available for viewing all day weekends and after 4pm weekdays. I have loads of photos too. Please P.M. Me if interested. Located in Durham, NC. Love the color on that one for some reason. Good luck with the sale and even better luck with the LR3.
