2001 Land Rover Discovery Luxury Edition. 4 door SUV, 5 passenger, 4.0 litre V8 with Bosch fuel injection, 4 speed automatic transmission with Sport mode, 4 wheel disc brakes with traction control and ABS, 4x4 with Hill Descent Control, dual front airbags.
Vehicle is Black in color with matching factory wheels and push bar. Interior is tan part leather and tweed with matching steering wheel. Dual power moonroofs. Factory AM/FM Cassette wirh CD changer and 6 speakers. Dual power seats with power lumbar and heat settings. Power windows, tilt, cruise, privacy glass, full size spare with vehicle matching wheel (unused), optional front push bar, front and rear foglights.
Vehicle has 78,000 miles and has been well cared for by the current and previous owner. The exterior and interior are in excellent shape. There are no dents or rust on the vehicle, and the interior is immaculate with no tears or dirt on the carpets or seats. The vehicle has a new water pump and antifreeze as of July 2009, done as preventative maintenance. The waterpump has a 1 year warranty. Also in July, the vehicle had a new front driveshaft with greaseable U-joints installed also done as preventative maintenance. Mechanically, the vehicle is in great shape...the engine does not run hot (temp needle stays in the middle) and runs very smooth. All shifts from the transmission are smooth and positive. 4 wheel drive low gear engages easily and works great. Brakes work great, and I have a new set of brake pads I have not installed yet . The only thing the vehicle will need in the future will be new tires.
Why am I selling? Because I am getting married and have too many vehicles including another SUV (hers). My loss is truly your gain for such a unique and wonderful vehicle. $7300. Please call (309) 648-4787. Serious Inquiries only please.
no, I mean privacy glass. I did not tint the windows, the rear windows were tinted from the factory. On other SUVs i've owned, the dark tinted glass was always referred to as provacy glass.
