Default '67 Series IIa NADA 109

I finally got it all cleaned up and ready to go, so it's up for sale. Odometer shows 93,XXX miles and I believe those to be original. Frame and bulkhead are rust-free, and the truck is almost 100% complete with the exception of the rear seat cushion bottoms for the fold-down seats. Interior is in very good condition, and the exterior is totally straight and in good shape, but the paint has faded quite a bit on one side and also on the hood. It has an Allison electronic ignition conversion (although I do have a spare points dizzy that could be included) and Fairy overdrive with Warn hubs.

Mechanically, the truck is fairly sound but it does need a few things. This vehicle has been rarely used for some time...I wouldn't say it has been "sitting", but it hasn't received the use and care it should have. The valvetrain is very noisy and the valves could really benefit from being adjusted by someone who really knows what they are doing with these Rovers, which I am not. The motor does not seem to be down on power, and idles and runs fine, just very noisy. I think it really could use a good tuneup as well and a proper carb adjustment...it seems to run a bit rich, but that could be because of some old gas and the fact that it's been neglected for a while...

The brakes also need some adjustment and may need new shoes...it takes a pump or two to get them hard at all. I tried my best to bleed and adjust them, but I couldn't get it quite right. They may just need adjusting properly, because the shoes looked good when I replaced the lower wheel cylinder on both sides.

I also have a lot of spare parts that will be included in the sale, to include an air filter assembly, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, cylinder head with valvetrain, valve covers...I even have a complete 2.6L spare engine, although the shipping could be an issue there. This vehicle is in Alaska, but shipping is available and I'd be glad to help out with shipping any way I can.

That's about all I can think of right now. If you have any questions, please ask. You can see pictures here...http://www.supermotors.net/registry/20743.

(The "before" pictures show the truck as I received it, with an extensive look at the frame and undercarriage and engine bay. The "after" pictures show the truck in it's current state). Here's a couple pics so you can get the gist of it's condition...

Asking $7000.

Not surprised. Great looking truck, in excellent condition, and underpriced.
