Sorry, but this will not work. With all due respect, your requested payment and shipping procedure is IDENTICAL to too many cases that turned out to be a scam. Unless you visit me personally and pay via PayPal or cash, I will not be following through with your request. As I stated in the ad on LRX, I am ONLY going to be selling this vehicle to a fellow enthusiast or someone genuinely interested in restoring this truck. If you aren't going to be here personally, I WILL NOT be turning this truck into anyone that isn't the new owner. I truly am sorry for this inconvenience.

Hello Mike, when would you want the wheels/tires by? At the moment they are still on my Discovery, I was not expecting a buyer so soon. If you are 100% on buying the wheels/tires I will order ASAP my new wheels and tires. If we can wrap it up before Saturday you could be able to have your wheels/tires by the end of next week. If you would like your wheels/tires sooner just let me know and we could work something out.

How does $1750.00 sound? Since your mover would do a pick up that saves me a lot of hassle with shipping so I dropped the price. Here are some pictures I have now that I took last week, I will take more in the morning.

has any body purchased any parts from rhinoracer , i mailed a check for parts well over a week ago and havent recieved any of stuff,he said he was going to be out of town for a week but i havent gotten a email or anything i dont think he is a scammer but i dont want to fool myself either any information would be great thanks guys

by the way that is defanitly a scam i get responses like that all the time on craigslist and its always a the same pitch out of time some rich important guy out of the country on business and wants to send you a fake check for more than you asked for

living in richmond i thought i would be better at seeing scams a mile away than most people but i guess not, what i dont understand is that the money order i sent hasnt been cashed,in you guys opinions should i stop payment, or wait a couple days

just FYI, that scam plays out as such:
they mail you a check for more than you asked for under the condition that you cash it and mail them the remainder, and someone else will come pick up their product.
you cash the check, and mail him the remainder.
the check is fake. best case, you lose whatever money you mailed. worst case, the bank presses charges on your for cashing a fake check.
no one ever comes to pick up the merch. the merch wasn't important, only the cash.

that is why they are always really busy. they dont have time for you to deposit the check, you need to cash it.
also, no one ever picks up the merch because they don't want to get arrested! i've heard that when this scam got started, people did come and pick it up. in that case, you would lose the money and the merch. now, you'll probably get a pretty brisk phone call from your bank manager before someone can make it over to steal your stuff, so the risk is too high.

it sucks that online sales (especially CL) is so saturated with this stuff now, but i hope this is up there with the Nigerian Bank Transfer as far as effictiveness is concerned by now.
