Post D90 Hybred, Turbo Deisel Conversion, Automatic, Many Upgrades

I have invested over 21K in this Rover. Being that it is a two door I am forced to sell by the wife, who is scheduled to have our first child via C-Section on Monday, June 13th. So this is my loss and your gain. I need to find a more practical four door. BEST REASONABLE OFFER BY SUNDAY TAKES IT!

This Defender was rebuilt in the UK by professional Land Rover specialists ( http://www.tntlr.com/ ) with a 1985 body on a 1960 Series II frame. This is how it was able to be legaly imported. Yes it is a RHD vehicle. It is title in the US as a 1960 series II (Big plus as i t only cost me $73 for taxes and registration in NV!) I have a clear NV title on this Defender. I have a file with every possible record on this Rover, from the time it was converted in the UK, its import documentation and any work that has ever been done on it here in the states.

It has been fitted with a Nissan LD28 (six cylinder Turbo diesel engine, common conversion in the UK) that I just had rebuilt about 500 miles ago, including a brand new Turbo. This engine gets aprox. 25mpg, (much better than the 15 or less teh V8 gets)! Please note that I do not know the actual mileage on this engine as the conversion was done in the UK and the engine was bought used, the odemeter reads only 43000 for the drivetrain. Also rare is the Land Rover ZF Automatic transmission that makes driving this RHD vehicle a breeze. I have just completed replacing all of the springs, shocks, and steering damper with Old Man EMU, an amazing upgrade for the handling of this Defender. Also new is an ARB Brush Bar with a new WARN XD9000 winch. A set of five new BF Goodrich All Terrain tires with about 500 miles on them. The head lights have been upgraded to the IPF replacement lamps, and it also has a set of Hella Driving lamps. This vehicle has never been off-road, as I had intended to use it, as well as it being my daily driver. This Defender has only been worked on by Land Rover specialty shops. The only thing that needs to be done on this is have the "U" joints replace (a max of $300.00 with labor). Please call for more information: (775)450-9038 I have many pictures I can email cmprobert@charter.net
