Default I'm selling my 1973 Series III

I’m selling my 1973 Series III 88” Land Rover Defender RHD.

The truck runs perfectly. Everything that that needed to be replaced or fixed has already been taken care of by me and the previous owner. I will send with the car a binder with all receipts from the last 2 years + original Owner’s Manual +manual on a CD. I will also give away at no additional cost a brand new rear crossmember that I did not have time to install yet.

It’s absolutely a great car! Yet its 35 years old and it has some rust, the hand break is not working and very few minor other things like the horn that I did not get chance to repair.

This truck runs PERFECTLY, and honestly I don’t think you would find another series that series III that generates this much power or starts and runs this well. I would not hesitate drive this car anywhere. Its 4WD works flawlessly, strong motor, shifts nicely and surely it is a very cool truck with tons of a character and classic. According to the previous owner the odometer indicates the actual mileage for the engine and head. Please note that the head was converted with hardened steel valve seats in order to run on regular gasoline. The frame is solid but has some rust and I mention above. Floor pans were replaced before I purchased the vehicle and are in a good shape. Doors top are functional and make a pretty good seal (Vs other series III) but start rusting the bottoms. The parking brake does not work. It has some typical leaks that commonly found in Series III Land Rovers , nothing really abnormal, tiny spots after seating awhile.. All fluids are good and topped off and it’s ready to please it’s new owner.

On a personal note I hate to depart from this baby, and I’m selling it only because I’m leaving the USA back to my homeland (Israel) and the Israeli DMV does not approve to import RHD (Right Hand Drive) vehicles.

Asking $11,000

Please feel free to ask any further question that you may have.
Good luck, God bless, and drive safely.
