I really like the way you ytreated the system. What size are those speakers. Also did you drill the holes yourself or did you have a professional put them in............. I know you are trying to sell your rover but I already have one and the friends that i told about it wants a brand new one. They say " I dont want to deal with the headache of frequent repairs"...so I told them go ahead and get the new one and they shouldnt ask me for a ride when their car is in the shop for 3 mo...LOL

Man, I wish I had the loot. I love that color. How does the carb setup work out? I'm tired of electrical gremlins and am contemplating going carbed.

Thanks for the comments. ehojefua, The speakers are 10", the stock wiring going to the subs is dual 4 ohm ( left and right i presume) the 10's are 4 ohms each. I did the fabrications myself... it was easy. just couldn't convince myself to cut out the holes in the cover.

As for the carb set-up, i get between 12 and 14 mpg on 87 octane with moderate driving. Acceleration is still minimal at best, but she starts all the time every time !!
and thats what i wanted. dan

Thanks. I know it's straight forward. I am just interested in how the drivability is compared to the EFI. I'm getting real tired of sensor issues. I swear you could ignite my exhaust fumes most of the time.

Thanks for the reply....I wouldnt be able to convince myself to cut through the cover either. I am surprised that you were able to actually have them fit in and when you pu the cover on it will look stock. Thats a great job!!

Question.... How can I get my rover have the "growl" of a range rover sport or a BMW X5,or of a jeep SRS

Default Growl.......

just remove the second muffler and replace with pipe. Breaths better, and will have a very crisp and pleasant growl. Quiet at idle, sounds like a V8 when under acceleration. NOT loud. You'll like it. This all assuming the forward muffler is in good condition. Slight increase in mileage! Price is right. Sell the muffler on Craigslist...
