Talking Well sorted out 1990 Classic up for grabs

My best ever Classic "Randy" is on the block (It's my 6th...total glutton for punishment I know)
I currently also have 2 Discos ('97 & '00) and an '03 Rangie (by far my least favorite & most costly). The fuel costs are killing me. Time to get a Jetta TDI!

This is a 3 owner Classic that has spent it's entire life in Missoula, MT. It has 172K on the clock. I split my time between Missoula & San Francisco and sell Real Estate for a living so the miles are mostly highway. I drive this rig daily and avarage about 400 miles a week. He has never seen a tow truck. NEVER overheated, never not started. No leaks, with the exception of a small power steering leak which my mechanic insists is simply a hose. No expense has been spared in keeping this rig running properly. The list of items replaced in the last 2 years is long and not limited to: Brakes all around, H2O pump, Starter, Bilstein Shocks & Steering Damper, Radiator Hoses, Heater Hoses, All Belts, Thermostat, Oil Pressure Switch, Battery, Alternator, Power Steering Pump, Exhaust, Throttle Position Sensor & factory heated windshield. In addition it has Hella Driving lamps, and Hella Offroad lamps. Full front brushguard, rear lamp guards, running boards and newer style wheels.
Exterior has been completely repainted by first owner. There is NO RUST anywhere. Interior is decent with no rips/tears in seats which have sheepskins covering them. Carpets are clean. No missing pieces or broken plastic parts. A/C is ice cold, heat is hot. EVERYTHING works with the exception of the cruise control. It has fresh oil change/lubrication, new wiper blades all around & fresh detail to boot. I have loads of spare parts as well, including a twin 1990 Classic COMPLETE that does not run and I have no idea why. I'd like to see $3000 for my pride and joy and will deal on the non-running car. They must both go together! I'd love for "Randy" to go to a Rover loving home. I truly do think he is one of the last on his vintage to be in such fantastic overall condition.

Check out the pics and let me know what you think. If I can't get at least that much let me know and I'll keep it and save us all the effort!

Thanks for your help. gz

That should get you started. I have scads more pics of exterior/interior and all the problem areas. If you'd like to see them just ask.
Thanks for looking!

Wow! It belongs in a museum. You either have 1) no kids and/or no dogs, or 2) you do but they don't go near this truck. If we didn't buy a 90 RRC a few months back I'd be all over this. Good luck, somebody is going to get a gorgeous vehicle.

It looks too good to be true !
From the pics it looks like it was repainted the same color, was the original color white?
Do you have pics of the upper tailgate, door sills and engine?
Thanks

It must be pretty depressing to get up every morning and look out at that view. Makes you long for the high rise and glass & steel. All that smogless air can't be doing you much good either.

Yes it can be depressing awaking every summer day to sun, 80-90 degree humidity-free days and 40-50 degree nights full of stars...but I manage.

Here are some more pics of the areas some have inquired about:

Xclusive: negotiating with another party right now. Will let you know if it does not pan out.

Ish: It has been completely repainted the same color white.
