Default Custom Rover Parts

Well, after seeing all the stolen designs, stolen money for parts to be made, inferior parts, backordered parts, etc. I figured, what the hell, i have the experience, I have the resources, I have the Rovers . . . .why not make my own parts. I will be producing a new line of parts under the name Black Listed Rovers. First part to be made will be Diff Guards Front and rear for DII followed closely by billet brackets for SD racks for lights, hi lifts, etc.

Any suggestions on parts that just cant be found or you are simply tired of waiting fo rthem to be delivered are welcomed. Goal here is to provide parts at a reasonable cost savings over all the other high priced stuff out there and deliver it in a normal amount of time.

NO money will be taken ahead of time for products. This will be all my own investment.

Website is under construction and should be up in a few weeks.

i will make parts for all rovers but doubt i will get into heavy duty metals such as bumpers and roof racks. way too much time to make and storage costs etc.

i am looking into making more peripheral type items.

skid plates
mounting brackets for bumpers, fairleads, diff guards, etc.

Nice, I'll be down for some mounts, shovel/hi lift ... perhaps ladder mounts in the future.

Well cool...

In that case, I really need to find a place to mount a hi lift jack....How about a nice mount for putting a hi lift on the upper crossbar of the stock RRC/Disco brush guard? I would be down for one of those.

Bet it could be a block of billet milled or cut with a curved side and a couple of "hooks" to mount a strap over...

I'm down for diff guards for an 03 Disco II.

If they are initially going to be a bit cheaper than the other brands available I'd be willing to even make a deposit to help you get started. I totally support the DIY ethic and the small business enterprise.

NO money up front. I will not be one of those guys that takes money and runs off, or delivers a shitty product. i will only take your money after the product is built and verified by other rover owenrs that i respecxt their opinions. then i will offer a money back return policy of 30 days if unused etc. etc. will get to the details when i ready to sell.

just trying to get ideas what to make first so that my initial investment isnt blown on a not wanted product or idea.

Are you an actual engineer? (i.e. Professional Engineer registered in the state of California--just curious not that it matters for this endeavor but curious what discipline you studied-mechanical, electrical, industrial, nuclear, physics engineering). You don't have to post that here if you do not want your personal business all over the net, I will understand.

How much of a discount
?

BlackListed, would a swing away tire mount for an LR3 be something you would be willing to fabricate? I think it would be quite popular if it were more reasonably priced than the BP version.
