They must have gotten the feedback the previous price was waaay too high. You can get 95' x 36" of 3m vinyl matte film for $59 and anyone can order it..

For all those viewing - Yea! I know a can of paint is $2.95 Let's not go there....we have done this before...LOL!

Yeah anyone can order vinyl, but no one else stands by the product, offers installation help, computer based cutting of the vinyl, etc.. We've been steadily selling the at the previous prices for 5+ years, just like to give back to the community and offer sales every once in a while.

Default Why?

Forgive the ignorance...I have a black on black 03 Disco. Why would people want to black out the top portion of the hood? Is the glare bad or something?

By the way-- Everyone feel free to post up pics of your truck with a blackout so people can see what the different color schemes are. I'll post up a pic of my girlfriends silver d2 in a bit... just put a blackout on it last night, looks great.

no offense taken.. the original purpose was to reduce glare from roof rack lights... but they also just look damn good.

Hi Ryan,
Not to sound like a bonehead, but do you use an adhesive to keep them on? Just curious in case it ever needed to come off. I want one after seeing your gf's. That looks great.
thanks
