Price lowered 300 Tdi drivetrain for sale

I'm relisting this at a lower price because I need to get it out of my garage. For sale is a complete late model Discovery I 300 Tdi diesel engine with all factory ancillaries including power steering, alternator, radiator, intercooler, etc., new mounts, and air conditioning proper to the 300 Tdi. Also included is the original automatic transmission which is the proper diesel version and transfer case, all original from the donor Discovery. The engine has about 80K miles on it and I am throwing in a brand new timing belt. The motor is a later D1 300 Tdi which originally had the electronic injection pump, but it has been changed to a mechanical one, so it needs no computer to run. Also, the EGR has been removed and blocked-off which improves the highway fuel mileage in a Discovery to around 35-40 mpg. No known issues with the engine or any of the other parts. This is a complete bolt-in for a V8 auto Discovery with the exception of moving the frame brackets forward a few inches, adapting the exhaust, and removing the fuel pump from the tank. I also just received a brand new diesel fuel sender unit to replace the fuel one, so this step is as simple as could be. Located in Champaign, IL and will ship on a pallet at buyer cost.
