Wanted
Wanted for hella cheap...a pre-California smog year Rangie. Condition is not really a top priority since it will be given the go through to make it rally ready. Prefer the west coast area for location since it will probably have to be towed. Previous project vehicle fell through.
Did I mention cheap?

Have you been checking craigslist.org? there's a 89 Range Rover for cheap... Check all the cities you would be willing to travel to to pick up?...

may be able to pay for most of it with parts that will be stripped off. It's in Reno, isn't Keptin in Reno? Maybe he could check it out and if it does not sell make the guy an offer  classic

Thanks bro. I want something from the 80's or older though. Pre-89 has the LT230 tranny in it which is what I need. It is a better and tougher tranny given the conditions I am going to put it through.
Ibjettin found me one on Craig'slist that I emailed the guy about. It is an '87 (I think) that needs engine work for 500 bucks and it is about 2 hours from me. I was going to throw in a 4.6 anyways so hopefully that one works out. But good lookin' out for me. I appreciate that.  I owe you a beer (or 12) at the 2006 NVTR.Oh, by the way, Serg is getting a free spot on the Baja Rangie for LRO. This forum has been indispensible to me.
