Default 7/7/07 wheeler lake

it was another good day. solihull society did wheeler lake and we got another big group with 13 trucks. 1 series, 2 d90s, 3 rrcs, and 7 d1s. there wasnt any carnage other than a cut sidewall. here are some pics.

it was a great trail! now i have a better idea about how big the sals in the rear really is. i also saw how much lockers can help on obstacles! not sure right now if i can make it on the 27th.

We are running the trail the 28th... camping the 27 - 29

I've got it in the 'wish list' on the calendar.

Since you're camping are you going to hit it early? best to get up and down to stay free of traffic on that trail!

yeah, i took both parents along this time. overall they had a good time but there were a few times where they thought i would roll and got really scared

that's great! I had my dad at the Leadville Rally a few years back. He was dealing with 50ft (Chicago) to 10K ft. above sea level in Leadville. AND learning the lean angles the RR is capable of! I made him drive the 3rd day so he could get a good feel for the trails. He still talks about it!
