Default Amacalola Run

Arghh! It would only let me post one shot until I have time to resize the rest. Anyway it was a great day in the North Georgia Mts.

I will be in North Georgia at Blue Mountain Creek in late June. Is it up near that way? I would love to do some wheeling while I am there.

A bunch of my fam from Louisiana is renting the cabin at Luxury cabin rental in Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia. Luxury Mountain Cabin in GA. Gonna eat some gator and such. A day of good ridin may be worth some of the best cajun cookin you have ever put in your mouth!!

Oh, and a lot of beer drinkin!

Ya the DII is actually my friends rig but the hood blackout looks awesome! I don't have exact coordinates but the trail ends up at the top of the falls. The park is actually Amicalola Falls, not "Amacalola". If you pass the entrance to the park on 52, you continue about 7 miles East and turn onto Nimblewill Church Rd. One mile down the road you take another left onto Nimblewil Gap. That turns into the forest service road that goes to the top of the waterfalls. These roads are all on Google maps and it gives a clear outline of the route. Give me heads up if you're going to do it and I'll tag along.

I'd recommend it. I googled it from Blue Ridge and it looks like it's only 35 miles or so.

I'm up there all the time and have two geocaches hidden up there. One 4 stage multi and another 3 stage multi.

Ya definitely. I'm finishing up finals but sometime after May 6th would be awesome. I know some others that would probably be interested too.
