Arrow Deep water crossings

Dear friends,

In my series2A petrol the second gear is very powerful, and normaly i do not use the 1st gear.I have crossed many water crossings on the low second gear( in a top speed on the low second gear). Is it better if i use the low range 1st gear. But my problem is i cant get that speed on the low range 1st gear. What if i put a turbo to my landy.

What turbo would you put on it? Can you put the turbo from a TD onto the petrol engine? It is after all the same engine near enough.
